Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing a supply amount of cooling liquid to the rotary electric machine even in a case where output of the rotary electric machine is high.SOLUTION: A cooling device for a rotary electric machine comprises: a first flow channel 46 that cools down a coil included in a stator; a second flow channel 48 that cools down a permanent magnet included in a rotor; a distributor 38 that distributes cooling liquid to the first flow channel 46 and the second flow channel 48; and a distribution controller 62 that controls the distributor 38. The distribution controller 62, in a case where an inverter 76 is supplied with a voltage lower than a maximum system voltage and field weakening control of a rotary electric machine 10 is performed, decreases a distribution amount to the first flow channel 46 and increases a distribution amount to the second flow channel 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
