Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flip-up type vehicle seat having a relatively simple structure and capable of being reliably secured to a vehicle body when the seat is accommodated, and to provide a lock mechanism therefor.SOLUTION: A flip-up type vehicle seat is provided having a securing strap for securing the seat to a vehicle body when accommodating the seat. The securing strap is connected to the seat via an anchor plate at a connection part to the seat. The anchor plate has at least two openings including a first opening, at a joint part to the securing strap, through which the securing strap is penetrated and a second opening provided at a close position to the edge part side of the anchor plate compared to the first opening. The securing strap is secured between the first opening and the second opening at the edge part and is provided so as to pass through an area between the second opening that is in the opposite direction to a direction tensile force is applied to the securing strap when the seat is secured to the vehicle body and the edge part of the anchor plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
