Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of designating an information output device used via the network by using unified designation information.SOLUTION: An information processing device receiving designation of an information output device used via the network from a user comprises: device retrieval means which retrieves the information output device via the network; use information setting means which sets the type of designation information used in designation of the information output device; and designation processing means which receives designation of the retrieved information output device from the user. The designation processing means presents the user with the acquired designation information for the information output device for which the designation information in the type set by the use information setting means can be acquired, presents the user with the generated designation information for the information output device for which the designation information in the type set by the use information setting means cannot be acquired, and makes a request for displaying the generated designation information to the information output device for which the designation information cannot be acquired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
