Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of preventing a temperature of bath hot water filled in a bathtub from becoming lower than a set temperature even when an automatic heat-retention function is not set.SOLUTION: A water heater 1 includes: means for filling a bathtub 100 with hot water; means for performing reheating operation for heating bath water in the bathtub 100; a control device 50 having an automatic heat retention mode of automatically maintaining a bathtub temperature that is a temperature of the bath water in the bathtub 100 by intermittently performing the reheating operation after filling of hot water and a mode of temperature rise after hot water filling that is a mode of raising the bathtub temperature only once by performing the reheating operation when the bathtub temperature after filling of the hot water is lower than a set temperature; and means for enabling a user to select the automatic heat retention mode. When the automatic heat retention mode is not selected, the control device 50 can execute the mode of temperature rise after hot water filling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
