PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pure titanium metal wire molded in a linear shape or a rod shape while forming fine crystal grains, and a processing method thereof.SOLUTION: A processing method includes preliminary processing and deformation processing. The preliminary processing includes a multiple spindle forging treatment process of applying one or more forgings to two or more of three-dimensional directions defined for a pure titanium metal material such that a cumulative strain quantity in the whole of a pure titanium metal material will be 1.5 or higher, and a rolling process of rolling multiple spindle forging-processed materials by rolling processing. The deformation processing applies strong rolling with a cross section reduction ratio of 60% or higher by swaging or drawing processing or a combination of them while keeping the temperature of the material at 70°C or less. In a processed pure titanium metal wire, crystal grains are configured to be elongate in the longitudinal direction, and the average length of the crystal grain size in the major axis-minor axis direction relative to the average length of the crystal grain size in the minor axis direction is 1:1.1 to 1:10, and the average lengths of the crystal grain are both 1 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
