Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop device for door closer capable of securing a large holding force even in a limited space inside a guide rail.SOLUTION: A stop device for door closer includes: a slider 7 moving by being guided by a guide rail according to an opening/closing operation of a door; and a catcher 8 provided at a predetermined position of the guide rail and for holding the slider 7. The slider 7 has a locking hole 24. The catcher 8 includes: an engaging ball 33 engaged with the locking hole 24; a coil spring 35 for energizing the engaging ball 33 to the engagement side; a transmission ball 34 arranged between the coil spring 35 and the engaging ball 33, and for transmitting a spring force of the coil spring 35 to the engaging ball 33; and a housing 31 incorporating the engaging ball 33, the transmission ball 34 and the coil spring 35. The transmission ball 34 transmits the spring force of the coil spring 35 to the engaging ball 33 by changing an angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
