Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which a file obtained by using scan data is transmitted to two or more data transmission destinations in accordance with two or more communication protocols in response to a scan command received from a server.SOLUTION: When a scanner receives a scan command from a server, the scanner causes a scan engine to execute scanning of a manuscript. The scanner extracts first transmission destination information indicating a data transmission destination in accordance with a first communication protocol from a scan command, transmits a first file obtained by using scan data to a first external device indicated by the first transmission destination information in accordance with the first communication protocol, extracts second transmission destination information indicating data transmission destination in accordance with a second communication protocol from the scan command, and transmits a second file obtained by using the scan data to a second external device indicated by the second transmission destination information in accordance with the second communication protocol.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
