Abstract:
Provided is a lighting system which allows a long light-guiding body to uniformly emit light, and allows a reduction in the length of harnesses for feeding power to light sources. In addition, in the lighting system, the increase in the required number of LED substrates is suppressed, thereby eliminating cost, process, and design deficiencies. This vehicular lighting system is equipped with a long light-guiding body having a pair of end surfaces. On one side surface of a portion of the light-guiding body between the pair of end surfaces, a light entrance unit having the plane of incidence is formed integrally with the light-guiding body. Light sources are disposed in such a manner as to face the plane of incidence.
