Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid interference with a snout which is installed in an inclined manner with respect to a bath surface of a molten metal plating bath and uniformize a flow of the bath surface of the plating bath inside the snout.SOLUTION: In a molten metal plating apparatus, which performs plating of a continuously conveyed metal plate by immersing the metal plate in a molten metal plating bath through a snout one end of which is immersed into the molten metal plating bath, the snout is installed in an inclined manner with respect to the bath surface, and at a location of the bath surface inside the snout, there are provided an ejection nozzle for ejecting molten metal to the metal plate entering the molten metal plating bath, and a suction nozzle provided opposingly in the width direction to the ejection nozzle with the metal plate interposed therebetween. The ejection nozzle includes a head part having two ejection ports disposed so as to be located on the front side and the back side respectively of the molten metal plating device with respect to the metal plate, and piping which is immersed into the molten metal plating bath from the head part along the inclination of the snout. Further, a joint position of the piping and the head part is located toward the front side from the intermediate position of the ejection port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
