Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correction device which reduces the memory capacity of an LUT and performs image correction with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An image correction device according to the present invention includes a correction table having a correction value of image data having the predetermined number of bits, a separation unit that separates the image data into upper bit data corresponding to the predetermined number of bits and remaining lower bit data when image data having the number of bits larger than the predetermined number of bits is input, a creation unit that creates a curve in which first derivatives are continuous on the basis of the correction value, a calculation unit that calculates a correction value of the lower bit data by using the created curve, and a correction unit that corrects the image data with the calculated correction value and outputs the corrected image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
