PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for 2-chloropropane synthesis that can improve the selectivity of 2-chloropropane, a method for synthesizing 2-chloropropane, and 2-chloropropane.SOLUTION: A catalyst for 2-chloropropane synthesis is used for synthesizing 2-chloropropane in a gas phase reaction of propylene and hydrochloric acid.
