Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool which can perform boring of a work-piece even if the work-piece has a structure which is easy to be peeled or deformed like a honeycomb structure, and a method for manufacturing a honeycomb component by boring of a work-piece having a honeycomb structure.SOLUTION: A boring tool has: at least one cutter which is tabular, which is so located that a thickness direction thereof becomes a tool axis direction, and which has a cutting edge for cutting a material to be cut at a tip in a rotation direction around the tool axis; and a shaft having one end at which a shank for holding a tool slewing gear is formed, and the other end to which the cutter is fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
