Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of supporting prediction of cancer recurrence applicable at a point of discontinuation of tyrosine kinase inhibitor or at an early stage within several months from the discontinuation.SOLUTION: The method of supporting prediction of cancer recurrence includes the steps of: measuring the number of eTreg cells in blood collected from a cancer patient; acquiring the value relevant to the number of eTreg cells based on the measurement result; classifying the patient into a recurrence low/high risk group on the basis of the value relevant to the obtained number of eTreg cells, in which the cancer patient has tyrosine kinase inhibitor administration history, and the blood is collected 20 to 50 days after stopping the administration of the tyrosine kinase inhibitor.SELECTED DRAWING: None
