Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for welding thermoplastic resin that securely welds cylindrical parts made of thermo plastic resin.SOLUTION: An end of a second cylindrical body 12 made of CFRP is inserted into a hole 14 of a first cylindrical body 10 whose periphery is wound with a heat-shrink film 24 and that is made of CFRP in which thermoplastic resin is used. Next, frictional heat is generated by rotating the second cylindrical body 12 in the hole 14 of the first cylindrical body 10 to slide an outer peripheral surface 22 of the second cylindrical body 12 with respect to an inner peripheral surface 20 of the first cylindrical body 10. This frictional heat causes the first cylindrical body 10 and the second cylindrical body 12 to swell and causes the heat-shrink film 24 to contract. As a result, certain pressing force acts on between the first cylindrical body 10 and the second cylindrical body 12, and the first cylindrical body 10 and the second cylindrical body 12 are welded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
