Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch lock capable of attenuating a sound when an inverted latch is returned and also of rapidly returning the inverted latch when a door is closed.SOLUTION: A latch lock comprises: a pressing member 8 for pressing a latch 6 out of a lock box 5 in a projection direction; a biased member 9 for biasing the pressing member 8 to the projection direction; and an invert-prevention member 65 for preventing the latch 6 from inverting by engaging the latch 6. The invert-prevention member 65 engages and detaches the latch 6 by moving in a longitudinal direction intersecting the projection direction of the latch 6, and has a drive mechanism actuated by operation of a push handle. The drive mechanism is configured to actuate the pressing member 8 and the invert-prevention member 65 so as to cooperatively move by directly or indirectly engaging the pressing member 8 and the invert-prevention member 65. A movement of the pressing member 8 in an exit-entering direction and a movement of detaching the invert-prevention member 65 from the latch 6 by the drive mechanism are cooperatively performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
