Abstract:
To provide a hammering tool configured so that pressing of a tip tool against a material to be processed can be detected appropriately to control driving of a motor.SOLUTION: A hammer drill 1 comprises a motor, a driving mechanism, a main body housing, a handle housing 15, a movable member 451, a hole sensor 458, and a controller. The driving mechanism can execute at least hammering operation of driving a tip tool linearly along a driving shaft in parallel to a rotating shaft of a motor shaft. The handle housing 15 includes a gripping part and is elastically connected to the main body housing. The movable member 451 is provided in the handle housing 15, and moves accompanying relative movements in a longitudinal direction of the main body housing. The hole sensor 458 is provided in the handle housing 15, and detects movements of the movable member 15 to detect pressing of the tip tool against a material to be processed. The controller controls driving of the motor, on the basis of a detected result by the hole sensor 458.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
