Abstract:
To provide an output control method for a melting burner in a casting system for solving the problem in which, in a die casting machine, an actual situation that the using amount of a molten metal is different according to molds to be used, and an actual situation that a working state is affected by a casting cycle which is not always constant are present, and, even in these cases, making the output of a melting burner in a casting system suitable and making the production amount of a molten metal till the next casting and a melting use amount in the next casting consistent as much as possible.SOLUTION: In a casting system for feeding a molten metal from a melting-holding chamber to a die casting machine by a molten metal feeding machine, the future use amount of a molten metal per unit time is predicted, and the output of a melting burner is controlled based on the predicted result. Then, the future use amount of a molten metal per unit time is calculated based on actual time intervals between, in feed operations, the feed operation in the latest time and the feed operation in the previous time thereof and the actual feed amount of a molten metal by the feed operation in the latest time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
