1424147 Growth regulant BAYER AG 18 June 1974 [19 June 1973] 26942/74 Heading C1B A plant-growth-regulating composition containing as active ingredient a heterocyclic sulphonium salt of the general formula in which R is alkyl (which may be substituted by hydroxyl, methoxy, methylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety or halogen), alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl which is optionally halogen substituted in the aryl moiety, A(-) is one equivalent of an anion and X is oxygen or the group in which A(-) has the above-mentioned meaning, R1 and R11 , which may be identical or different, are each C 1 -C 6 alkyl and R111 is one of the radicals specified for R, or R111 and R together form the group -CH 2 -CH 2 -, in admixture with a solid or liquefied gaseous diluent or carrier or in admixture with a liquid diluent or carrier containing a surface-active agent.
