Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry out the fermentation in the anaerobic fermentation of an organic waste to produce methane gas, by adding a given amount of urea or (and) ammonium hydrogenphosphate to the fermentation process.

CONSTITUTION: An organic waste discharged from homes, e.g. garbage or livestock waste, is subjected to the anaerobic fermentation. At that time, a nitrogen- containing compound, e.g. urea or (and)ammonium hydrogenphosphate, is added to the acidic fermentation process. The amount to be added is 3W15pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. fermentation raw material. Thus, the acidic fermentation process is accelerated to advance the reaction rapidly.
