Abstract:
PURPOSE:To process only the read-out data which is free from errors through the facilitated collation, by displaying the data read out on a single slip at a display part and collating visually this data with the data on a single slip at a visual confirmation part. CONSTITUTION:A single slip 10 is put into a slit 1, and the transaction to be processed is designated. Thus a slip feeding device works based on the detection signal of a sensor 11, and the slip 10 is sent to the reading position of an OCR sensor 14. A character reader reads successively the data written on the slip 10 and recognizes them and transfer the character code to a main control part. When the reading is over, the slip feeding device works backward. At the same time, a switching gate works to send the slip 10 to a visual confirmation part 18. While the data read out of the slip 10 is displayed on a display part. A user collates the display part with the slip 10 to make sure that the read-out data has no error. When no error exists, the data is transmitted to carry out a transaction.
