Abstract:
A drum-type washing machine (1) has a door (20) on the front face of a washing machine main body (11). The door (20) is formed to include: a first plane (101) which is a vertical plane or a plane inclined to the rear side from the bottom toward the top; and a second plane (102) which is formed above the first plane (101) and is a inclined plane inclined to the rear side from the bottom toward the top with respect to the first plane (101). The door (20) is connected to the washing machine main body (11) by a hinge provided in the region of the first plane (101) and rotates in the direction orthogonal to the first plane (101) via this hinge. The door (20) has a knob (21) at least a part of which is disposed on the second plane (102).
