Abstract:
Provided is an endoscope that prevents an increase in the temperature of a light-emitting element. This endoscope comprises: an observation window that is fixed to a tip member (30) positioned at the tip of an insertion part; a light-transmitting element (633) that provides illumination in the field of view direction of the observation window; a power supply line (659) that supplies power to the light-transmitting element (633); an illumination frame (64) that surrounds a connection part connecting the light-transmitting element (633) and the power supply line (659); a connector that is connected to an endoscope processor; and a conductor line that connects the illumination frame (64) and the connector.
