Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL: Compd. of formula I [wherein R1 is H, F or Cl; R2 is H, a (substd.) alkyl, an alkynyl, a cycloalkyl or a (substd.) phenyl; R3 is H, an alkyl, OR4 (wherein R4 is H, an alkyl, a phenyl, a naphthyl, etc.); R2 and R3 form together a methylene chain] or its salt.

EXAMPLE: N-2-methoxyethyl 4-[2-(2-hydroxy-3-phenoxypropylamino)- ethyl]phenoxyacetoamide.

USE: The agent has exothermic characteristic and is used for curing obesity and related symptons such as obesity in diabetes started in grown-up persons.

PROCESS: E.g. a compd. of formula II (wherein R5 is a substitutable group) is reacted with a compd. of formula NHR2R3 to obtain a compd. of formula I.
