PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a 4-hydroxycinnamamide derivative having antioxidation activity, its pharmacologically acceptable salt and a pharmacological composition for preventing aging and treating cancers, diabetes, epilepsy and nerve regressive diseases comprising the derivative as an active ingredient.
SOLUTION: This 4-hydroxycinnamamide derivative is represented by chemical formula 1 (X1 and X2 are each hydrogen, a 1-15C alkyl group or alkoxy group; Y is a 1-3C alkyl group or CH=CH-C(=O) or the like; Z is a group represented by formula I or formula II (A is a phenyl group or the like)) or chemical formula 2 (X1 and X2 are each a hydroxy group or a 1-15C alkoxy group; Y1 to Y4 are each hydrogen, a halogen, a hydroxy group or the like) and its pharmacologically acceptable salt.
