Abstract:
To provide a new perfume compound reproducing a flavor full of natural feelings with emphasis on a fresh fruity feeling, and a method for producing the same.
Natural feelings accompanying a dry woody tone, a fruity flavor as well as a fruity and fragrant taste full of fresh feelings, and excellent persistence are possessed by 8,9-epoxyundeca-1,3,5-triene, and hence a perfume composition comprising the compound is useful as a perfume for use in imparting a flavor to food, beverages, toiletries, medicines or the like.
