Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a monitor for abnormal heat generation of an object by utilizing the fact that the color tone of a thermal picture image employing the infrared ray will change in accordance to the temperature of the object.

CONSTITUTION: The infrared ray thermal picture image and the shape position picture image in the proximity of the cutting point are detected by an infrared ray photographying camera 11 and an industrial TV camera or a shape position photographying camera 12 to obtain the temperature distribution picture image in the proximity of the cutting point. The detected temperature distribution picture image and the standard temperature distribution image are identified by an abnormality identifying circuit 17, and when there is the abnormal temperature higher than the allowable level the picture images of the abnormal position and the temperature are displayed on an abnormality display. In place of a standard temperature distribution picture image memory 21, the standard temperature distribution picture image can be calculated from a NC device 1 and sent to an identifier circuit 17. Consequently the contactless remote monitoring is achieved and the unmanned processing is facilitated during the unmanned monitoring.
