To provide an absorbent article capable of being easily deformed along the legs of a wearer, excellent in the leakage preventive property and fitting property, and capable of preventing the wearer from feeling a sense of disorder.
The absorbent article 1 is vertically long, and includes a liquid-permeable front surface sheet 2, a leakage preventive sheet 3 and a liquid-retaining absorbent core 5 interposed between the sheets 2 and 3. The absorbent core 5 has a center absorbent core 51 located at the center in the lateral direction of the absorbent article 1, and side absorbent cores 52 disposed on both sides of the center absorbent core 51. Each side absorbent core 52 has a plurality of block-shaped absorbent cores 55a disposed at the center in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 and separate from each other in the longitudinal direction, and elastic members 7 are disposed in the longitudinal direction in an area S overlapping the side absorbent core 52 or in the vicinity of the area S in the planar direction of the absorbent article 1.
