Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce in size an absorption refrigerator and to prevent the detention of additive (absorption accelerator) by expediting the steam absorbing performance of absorbing liquid and enhancing the overall heat transfer coefficient by a circulating operation.
CONSTITUTION: The absorbing liquid for an absorption refrigerator comprises fluoric alcohol 22 and at least one type of alcohol of hydrocarbon alcohol having a boiling point of 190 to 215°C added to alkaline absorbing liquid 10 containing lithium bromide and water as main ingredients. As the fluorine alcohol, at least one type of alcohol selected from a group consisting of 2-(perfluorobutyl) ethanol, 2-(perfluorohexyl)ethanol, and 2-(perfluoro-3-methylbutyl)ethanol is used. As the hydrocarbon alcohol, at least one type of alcohol selected from a group consisting of 2-decanol, and 3-decanol is used.
