Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce electric power consumption of a plasma display panel.
CONSTITUTION: Plural paired line electrodes 14 and 14 are formed in parallel to each other on a board 11. A line electrode orthogonal to a row electrode 21 is formed on a board 12 arranged at a prescribed distance from the board 11. A dielectric layer 17 composed of low melting point glass having a specific dielectric constant not more than 8 is formed in a film thickness of 20μm to 50μm so as to cover the line electrodes 14. Therefore, capacity of a picture element cell is reduced.
