Abstract:
To provide an acceleration suppressing device improved in practicability.SOLUTION: An acceleration suppressing device is equipped with an on-vehicle sensor 20 that obtains and outputs information relating to an own vehicle and information relating to the operation of an operator of the own vehicle, and a parking assist ECU 10 that controls at least one device of a drive device 30 and a brake device 40 mounted on the own vehicle on the basis of information obtained from the on-vehicle sensor 20 and can execute acceleration suppression control for suppressing the acceleration of the own vehicle. The parking assist ECU 10 executes the acceleration suppression control if a traveling mode of the own vehicle matches a predetermined mode regulated in advance as a traveling mode when parking the own vehicle in a parking lot, while the own vehicle is located within a predetermined area including the parking lot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
