Abstract:
To provide a technology for suppressing the acceleration of a vehicle so as to contribute more to safety in an acceleration suppression device for suppressing the acceleration of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An acceleration suppression device mounted on a vehicle includes a function detection section 13 and a vehicle control section 11. The function detection section 13 includes a turn detection section 131 and a hazard detection section 132. The vehicle control section performs control to suppress the acceleration of the vehicle when a state where neither a right indicator lamp nor a left indicator lamp functions as a winker is detected by the turn detection section, and a state where the right indicator lamp and the left indicator lamp each function as a hazard lamp is detected by the hazard detection section. In addition, the vehicle control section performs control so as not to suppress the acceleration of the vehicle when a state where the right indicator lamp and the left indicator lamp each function as the winker is detected by the turn detection section, and the state where the right indicator lamp and the left indicator lamp each function as the hazard lamp is detected by the hazard detection section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
