Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the residual operating time of a battery long by a method wherein the access time is made variable on the basis of the monitored result of the residual operating time of the battery by means of a monitoring means. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration and deceleration pattern generator 22 generates an acceleration and deceleration pattern at the control operation of the shortest access time when the residual operating time of a battery 9 is at a prescribed reference value or higher on the basis of a monitored result form a battery monitor 21, and inputs it to a target-speed generator 4. An actuator 1 is accelerated toward a target track position and, after that, decelerated position in a target track position. On the other hand, when the residual operating time is smaller than the reference value, an acceleration and deceleration pattern which is inversely proportional to the value is generated. Consequently, a deceleration pattern generated form the generator 22 generates the acceleration and deceleration pattern in which the inclination of a straight-line part up to a maximum accelerating current value becomes gentle as the residual time of the battery 9 becomes smaller than the reference value.
