Abstract:
To provide an accessory which has high convenience.
The accessory is attached to and detached from a camera, and includes a starting state proving terminal for providing a detection level that shows whether the accessory can be started or not, a different terminal different from the starting state proving terminal, and a setting unit for setting the state of the detection level so as to indicate that the accessory is in a state that it can be started according to a voltage level of the different terminal.
