Abstract:
To provide an accessory, camera, accessory control program, and camera control program which have high convenience.
The accessory is attached to and detached from a camera, and includes a charging unit for charging a power storage unit on the basis of power supply from the camera, and an accessory control unit that transmits power supply continuation information to the camera for requesting continuation of the power supply even when the camera is set to a prescribed state different from the starting state that allows the camera to operate, and controls the charging unit for charging the power storage unit with the power supply from the camera according to the power supply continuation information.
