PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulating and packaging device with excellent industrial productivity capable of accumulating compressible products and packaging a large number of products at one time.
SOLUTION: An accumulating and packaging device is provided with an accumulation part 8 which successively receives two units 4 of one product group in which a plurality of product groups comprising longitudinally stacked products of a prescribed number in the vertical direction are arranged, and slightly compresses two units 4 of one product group. In the accumulation part 8, one unit 4 of one product group is received at a part to be held by one guide plate 19 and a partitioning plate 21, and then, a part to be held by the other guide plate 20 and the partitioning plate 21 is moved to the position to receive another unit 4 of one product group to be fed next, and the unit 4 of one product group to be fed next is received by a part to be held by the other guide plate 20 and the partitioning plate 21. Two units 4, 4 of one product group are moved to the position opposite to a product compression part 10 while two units 4, 4 of one product are slightly compressed by a pair of guide plates 19, 20.
