Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet holding device which can hold sheet bundles aligned when holding and carrying the sheet bundles stacked on a bin.
SOLUTION: When the pile of sheets placed on a bin are extracted by holding one side of the sheets with an upper gripper 66 and a lower gripper 67, the upper gripper 66 is adapted to comprise two resilient members 301, 303 having low friction coefficient, and a high friction coefficient member 302, and the resilient member 303, 303 are adapted to project higher than the high friction coefficient member 302. By virtue of such arrangements, when the sheets are held by the resilient member 301, 303 and are aligned under the pressure, the sheets can be held firmly by these high friction members.
