Abstract:
To provide an acrylic resin particle which is suitably applicable to a precursor for obtaining a nano-graphite fiber from a hardly graphitizable resin in a high yield, and its production method.
The acrylic resin particle contains acrylonitrile and has a shape of 0.1-150 nm in width and 0.05-10 μm in length. The production method for the resin particle is carried out by uniaxially stretching a multiphase polymer material composed of an acrylic resin component dispersed in a different kind of a polymer matrix by forming a domain.
