To make it possible to electrically connect signal wirings having disconnected parts and pixel electrodes and to relieve the disconnection of the signal wirings.
Gate signal wirings 15, gate insulating films 22 and pixel electrodes 12 are formed on a substrate 11 and conductive layers 41 for relief are formed thereon. The conductive layers 41 for relief are so formed as to come into contact with the pixel electrodes 12 in the positions where the gate signal wirings 15 and the pixel electrodes 12 overlap on each other. The positions of the gate signal wirings 15 crossing the disconnected parts 28 are irradiated with a laser from above the conductive layers 41 for relief of the disconnection. By which, the disconnected gate signal wirings 15 are thus electrically connected by the molten metals 29.
