In a road surface condition recognizing part 19, a road surface condition before a vehicle is detected, referring to road surface condition information, a suitable parameter relating to the road surface condition is read from a memory 23, the read suitable parameter is set as the suitable parameter prior to changing of the suitable parameter based on the canceling error.
