To provide a history of the amount of activity with accuracy while reducing a required memory capacity.
An activity meter includes: an activity amount-acquisition part 112 which acquires the amount of activity of a body of a subject to be measured on a regular basis; a first memory which has a capacity for storing the amount of activity corresponding to a unit period and follows a FIFO (first-in/first-out) system; a first storage part 113 which sequentially inputs the amount of activity acquired by the activity amount-acquisition part 112 on a regular basis and stores the amount of activity to be input in the first memory; a maximum extracting part 114 for extracting a maximum amount of activity out of the amount of activity for each fixed interval in the unit period from the first memory; and a second storage part 115 which stores the maximum amount of activity that has been extracted by being associated with the time when the maximum amount of activity is acquired in a second memory for the succeeding display.
