Abstract:
To provide an additional member pasting device that easily supplies an additional member when pasting the additional member below the spine of a book body.SOLUTION: The additional member pasting device that is connected to a bookbinding machine and supplies and pastes a strip-like additional member S from outside the bookbinding machine onto the glued spine of a book body B in a standing condition stopped at an additional member pasting position P inside the bookbinding machine includes: a table 17 that advances and recedes between the advance position where an additional member S loaded on an additional member receiving face 20 on the upper surface of the leading end side is positioned blow the additional member pasting position P and the retreat position inside a frame where the additional member retreats from the advance position to outside the bookbinding machine; a gripping claw 38 that extends in the horizontal direction on the front side of a leading end 17a of the table 17 and has a leading end that grips the additional member S on one end side thereof with the additional member receiving face 20; and a sliding plate 36 that is provided below the other end side of the gripping claw 38 and causes the leading end to come close to or separate from the additional member receiving face 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
