Abstract:
To provide an additional member pasting device that supplies and pastes additional members and can reduce wasteful consumption of material.SOLUTION: The additional member pasting device includes: a first cutter 9 that is provided at the entry of a cutting station 4 and cuts a continuous sheet-like additional member Q unwound in length corresponding to the thickness of a book body B in a direction that crosses the unwinding direction (Arrow X); a transport mechanism 10 that is provided on the downstream side of the first cutter and transports the additional member cut by the first cutter in the unwinding direction of the continuous sheet-like additional member; and a second cutter 11 that is provided in the middle of the transport path of the transport mechanism and cuts the cut additional member being transported on the transport path in the unwinding direction, allowing the position of the blade of the second cutter to be adjusted in the direction that crosses the unwinding direction according to the length of the book body in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
