Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive additive for a composite feed for poultry and cattle, composed of e.g. an aqueous solution of L-tryptophan containing a prescribed amount of L-tryptophan, etc., and having excellent storage stability and high concentration. SOLUTION: This feed additive is an aqueous solution of L-tryptophan and/or L-threonine having high concentration. It is stably storable as an enriching solution at -20 to +5 deg.C for >=3 months and contains 30-70% L-tryptophan and/or L-threonine sodium salt and/or potassium salt, etc. The feed additive preferably contains 0.01-5.0wt.% of a soluble L-tryptophan salt and/or L- threonine salt.
