Abstract:

To provide an adhesive composition having an excellent adhesion and flame retardance and an insulating tape for flat cables using this.

The adhesive composition comprises at least (A) a saturated copolymerized polyester containing at least one of (A1) a saturated copolymerized polyester having a melting point of ≥90°C but <130°C and (A2) a saturated copolymerized polyester having a melting point of from 130 to 180°C, and (C) a flame retardant, (D) a flame retardant auxiliary and (E) an antioxidant and optionally (B) a polyolefin resin. Here, the amount of component (C) mixed is from 40 to 120 pts.wt. against 100 pts.wt. the total of components (A) and (B).
