Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive exhibiting a matting effect, by compounding a rubbery organic polymer having a plurality of reactive, silicon-containing groups, an epoxy resin having a plurality of epoxy groups and a curing agent for these components, as main components, and at least one of an amide compound and an amine compound.
SOLUTION: This adhesive composition is a two-component adhesive composed of A and B components. Component A comprises 100 pts.wt. liquid rubber type organic polymer having a polyether main chain and reactive, silicon- containing groups at both terminals, 3 to 10 pts.wt. curing agent for an epoxy resin such as triethylenetetramine and 0.5 to 5 pts.wt. aminosilane compounds. Component B comprises 30 to 70 pts.wt. epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule thereof and 0.5 to 5 pts.wt. condensation catalyst for a silanol such as dibutyltin dilaurate. 1 to 15 pts.wt. at least one of compounds of formulae I and II, wherein R1 is a 12-18C alkyl, R2 is a 1-4C monohydric alcohol residue, R3 is H or a 1-4C monohydric alcohol residue and R4 is a 1-12C monohydric alcohol residue, is added to component A or component B.
