Abstract:

To obtain an adhesive which does not cause blushing in the field of adhesion of a polyester, is cheap and has a moderate curing time by incorporating as a main component a linear alcohol having a specific number or more of fluorine atoms bonded thereto.

There is provided an adhesive for a polyester, comprising a linear alcohol having at least four fluorine atoms bonded thereto or comprising a 5-50 wt.% organic solvent solution of the fluorinated alcohol. The fluorinated alcohol has such a structure that 2-6 methylene groups whose each two hydrogen atoms are replaced by two fluorine atoms are linked together and have a hydrogen atom on one end and CH2OH on the other end, and tetrafluoropropanol-1, octafluoropentanol-1, dodecafluoroheptanol-1 or the like can be employed. Al the organic solvent is employed acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, tetrahydrofuran, ethyl acetate, toluene or the like.
