Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an influence of self-weight of a recording medium and to acquire a tension value corrected to a correct value.SOLUTION: An adjustment method for a printer 1 comprising a printing section 5 discharging ink onto a sheet S and forming an image, a conveyance section 6 having a delivery shaft 20 capable of adding conveyance force to the sheet S, and a tension sensor S21 capable of detecting a tension value Ta imparted to the sheet S, comprises: a step S11 of rotating the delivery shaft 20 such that tension received by the sheet S at a detection position of the tension sensor S21 from the conveyance section 6 becomes zero Newton; and a step S12 of executing zero point adjustment of the tension sensor S21 such that the tension value Ta detected and output by the tension sensor S21 becomes zero Newton subsequent to the step S11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
