PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately acquire an adjustment value suppressing an influence of inclination of a carriage with respect to a main scanning direction.SOLUTION: An adjustment method for a printer includes: a step S11 of printing a first raster 71 while changing a relative position to one direction in a main scanning direction X; a step S12 of changing the relative position to a sub-scanning direction Y; a step S13 of printing a second raster 72 while changing the relative position to the other direction in the main scanning direction X; a step S14 changing the relative position to the sub-scanning direction Y; a step S15 of printing a third raster 73 while changing the relative position to the one direction in the main scanning direction X; a step S16 changing the relative position to the sub-scanning direction Y; and a step S17 of printing a fourth raster 74 while changing the relative position to the other direction in the main scanning direction X. In the sub-scanning direction Y, a direction from the first raster 71 toward the second raster 72 is a direction reverse to a direction from the third raster 73 toward the fourth raster 74.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
