Abstract:
To provide a technique that can automatically adjust the posture of a conveying roller by utilizing machine learning in a printer.SOLUTION: A printer has a measurement value acquisition unit 62, a reinforcement learning unit 63, and a posture adjustment unit 50. The measurement value acquisition unit 62 acquires measurement values d1 to d5 including the amount of deviation of ink ejection positions by a plurality of heads on a surface of a base material. The reinforcement learning unit 63 uses the measurement values d1 to d5 obtained by the measurement value acquisition unit 62 as input variables and an adjustment amount da of the posture of the conveying roller as an objective variable, and outputs the adjustment amount da based on a reward according to the input variables. The posture adjustment unit 50 adjusts the posture of the conveying roller based on the adjustment amount da output from the reinforcement learning unit 63. By repeating these processes, the posture of the conveying roller can be automatically adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
