PURPOSE: To provide a aeration mattress which gives a comfortable condition for the user by blowing the air with temp. and/or humidity regulated to the mattress, ensures an easy sleep in user, also helps recovery of a sick person and precludes him from a risk of bedsore.

CONSTITUTION: A aeration mattress is composed of an air diffusing layer 2 and air non-permeative layer 3 having an area substantially equal to that of the mattress 7, provided that the peripheral part 4 of the air diffusing layer 2 is formed non-permeative, wherein an air-conditioner and blower are preferably coupled with the air supply port 5 of the air diffusing layer. The comforter is laid on the air diffusing layer side, and air is sent into the mattress from the air supply port, and it is put in service. As a conventional mattress can be used without modification, this is convenient for domestic use, and it can also be used in combination with a bed in hospital, etc., economically. This can serve also as a mattress dryer.
